![]() Guinevere Turner's Performance as Tanya has been uniformly praised by critics and won her best actress prize at the Beziers film festival of young actors in March 1999, in the South of France. Guinevere Turner, star of the very successful art house film comedy "Go Fish", has since scarcely been out of the limelight. Highly talented, "a great beauty and a great, actress" (Sunday Times) she has been featured in Premiere, Filmmaker and Interview. Another recent screen performance was in Cheryl Dunye's feature, "The Watermelon Woman". Guinevere plays the lead role of Tanya Cheex - the sex goddess and performer from New York who has a raw, bold persona that is very individual and that can be sweet and sour at the same time. She has a house full of personal slaves of which her closest is Eugenie (played by Julie Graham). As part of her preparation for the role Guinevere participated in actual sessions at the Nutcracker Suite (New York's elite domination parlour) under the tutelage of dominatrix Mistress Diane.
